Stephens City Mennonite Church

is built on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ with roots to our past and branches to our future. We represent a variety of people who love God and each other, have fun together and are always eager to include others in our family.

We Believe ...
In Jesus Christ as our model for life, and as one who died and rose from the dead so that we can live in union with God.
The church should keep Christ's life and ministry alive in the world.  It is made up of people whose sins have been forgiven and who choose to follow Christ's example and teachings.
That the followers of Christ should relate to each other and the world in the same loving and forgiving way that Jesus did.

VISION
God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as a community of love, grace, joy, and peace, so that God's healing and hope flow through us to the world.

MISSION
At Stephens City Mennonite Church it is our purpose, in keeping with the scriptures,
to glorify God as we proclaim His Word, to introduce Jesus Christ to the world,
to provide nurture and fellowship through a community of believers,
and to minister to the needs of the whole person.
We are Christians, members of God's family, who enjoy living out the love of Jesus together,
giving who we are and what we have, and inviting others in our community and world to know and love Jesus too.
